2/14/2018 · always double check that it says achievements are enabled before starting a game. Even if checksum is correct you might’ve changed a game option that isn’t Achievement compatible (these will say in Bright red on the game options screen if they disable achievements). Also make sure to load steam first before loading CK2.
So I’ve recently picked up CK2 again but for some reason or another my achievements don’t seem to be unlocking . I haven’t completed any achievements so far, yet I have definitely completed some of the tasks. Things to note:-I’m playing with a lot of expansion packs, but I do not own the realm designer, so I obviously have not been using it.
1/30/2014 · Assuming you are playing in Ironman Mode, are using a Steam cloud save to ensure internet connectivity, and meet the achievement requirements, the solution to my problem was to completely uninstall CK2 and delete any residual game folders in My Documents (Paradox Interactive) and in the main Steam folder (steamapps/common/Crusader Kings II).
No. Looking at the CK2 Wiki, it appears that if you ever lose wireless connectivity while playin in Ironman mode, it invalidates your save and prevents you from attaining any achievements on Steam. This is a bit ludicrous considering the length of a game from the earlier start dates to the end, but appears to be the process.

Checking the code, there is obviously a bug. To unlock the achievement, you must duel people and eventually it gets unlocked when your character receives the got_duelist_bloodline flag in common/scripted_effects/01_scripted_effects_duels.txt.
1/28/2012 · Go to your steam library to the game properties and do a verify game integrity check. It will replace all your files with vanilla files that have been altered. One or more of your mods might have changed some of the ck2 files and it still considers that the game is altered, even if you disabled the mods
